A Canadian-born actor Ryan Gosling drew his first breath to his father Thomas, who worked as a travelling salesman and mother Donna, who is a former secretary. Also, the movie star has a younger sister named Mandi.

While studying at school, a young starlet started demonstrating artistic skills, performing in various plays. At the age of 13 he went for a casting of a popular talent-show The Mickey Mouse Club and successfully passed it. For the next two years he had been regularly appearing on TV and then started featuring on Disney channel. After several years of minor roles, he was finally offered a main role in a film called The Believer.
