A remarkable movie star Kat Dennings saw the light in Pennsylvania, where she grew up with four siblings. Her father is a professor and molecular pharmacologist, while the mother is a poet and speech therapist.
She first appeared on a big screen at the age of 10, having featured in a potato chips commercial. At 14 she finished middle school and relocated with the family to LA in search of greener pastures in the filmmaking industry.
In 2000 she debuted on TV in an episode of super-popular series Sex and the City. After that from 2000 and up till 2001 Dennings had been starring in Raising Dad. Also, she had minor roles in such projects as Without a Trace, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Less than Perfect, etc.
In 2004 she appeared in a movie called Raise Your Voice that made her more recognized in Hollywood. That’s why with time, Kat started getting first big roles. For instance, she starred in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Big Momma’s House 2, Thor, Thor: The Dark World and many others.
However, what really brought her international fame is the main role in a sitcom 2 Broke Girls that had been lasting since 2011 and up till 2017.
Today, the celebrity keeps developing her path in the moviemaking sphere, taking part in various films, TV shows and series.
