Nina Dobrev

A beautiful and gifted film performer Nina Dobrev was welcomed in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her mother deals with fine arts and her father is an IT specialist. The family also includes a brother, who is an engineer. In 1990 a future star moved with her parents to Canada, Toronto, where she grew up and learnt English as well as French languages in addition to Bulgarian. As a kid, she was interested in dancing, music, painting and especially acting and gymnastics. Having seen her passion, parents signed her up with Wexford Arts School. After that she also studied in Dean Armstrong Acting School.

In 2006 she got her first serious role in popular TV series Degrassi that was aired both in Canada and America. Nina’s popularity began rapidly growing and she started getting multiple offers from producers. In such a way, she featured in The Poet, Too Young To Marry, How She Move and others. Nonetheless, what really helped her rise to stardom is her main role in The Vampire Diaries. It didn’t only bring her worldwide fame but also 6 Teen Choice Awards.

Nowadays, Dobrev keeps acting in various TV projects. Also, she can be seen in music videos of various artists as well as some fashion magazines.
