Kelly Rowland

A talented singer Kelly Rowland was delivered in Atlanta. Because of her parents’ divorce, a future star moved with her mother to Texas when she was 7. There, she met Beyonce and both girls started dreaming of creating a girl band. Beyonce’s father made their dream come true and soon enough the group called Girls Time started taking part in multiple competitions, gradually becoming popular and recognized in Texas. In 1995 they signed a contract with Elektra Records but after some time the contract was broken.

However, they didn’t give up and in 1996 signed another contract with Columbia Records as well as changed the name to Destiny’s Child.  Two years later the group presented their first album that was very successful. In 2001 they released the second album that immediately earned the first place in the US hit-parade. Before the group disbanded, they introduced 4 great studio albums.

Rowland decided to continue her path in the music world solo and in 2002 introduced her first album called Simply Deep. Yet, its sales couldn’t be compared to the ones of Destiny’s Child. Nonetheless, the singer kept developing her path in the music industry and in 2007 presented one more album Ms. Kelly.

In addition to that she also began dealing with acting and appeared in Single Ladies, Boomerang, L.A.’s Finest, Empire, Being Mary Jane and other TV projects.
