A widely-known film performer and former football running back John David Washington was born in a family that is closely connected to the moviemaking industry. His father Denzel Washington is an internationally known actor and mother Pauletta is a singer and film star. John also has three siblings that he is close with.
While studying at school a future star was passionate about football and when he entered Morehouse College, he kept playing it. He began playing professionally in 2006 when he became a part of the St. Louis Rams. A year later, he played in NFL Europe for Rhein Fire. In 2009 the sportsman signed a contract with Sacramento Mountain Lions and had been its part till 2012. That year he got a serious leg injury and had to leave the world of sport.
However, he didn’t give up and decided to try his hand in acting. In such a way, in 2015 he featured in popular television series Ballers. This project has been lasting since 2015 and up till 2019. The actor’s other well-known works include: Monsters and Men, BlackKklansman, Tenet and others.
