Chris Martin

Today, the music industry is full of talented artists and Chris Martin is one of them, being a singer-songwriter, a guitarist, a pianist, a co-founder and a lead vocalist of a super popular band Coldplay.

He was born to his mother Alison, who is a music teacher and father Anthony, who used to work as an accountant. Also, the celebrity has four siblings.

He studied at the Exeter Cathedral School and used to sing in a church choir. Then he entered the UCL and graduated with a degree in Ancient World Studies. It was there and then that he made friends and co-founded a band Coldplay with them.

Their debut album Safety that was introduced in 1998 wasn’t successful at all. However, the group didn’t give up and in 2000 they presented their second album called Parachutes. It became platinum seven times in Britain and twice in the US and Canada. In addition, they received an Emmy for it. Throughout the band’s existence, 8 studio albums, 10 live albums and 7 compilation albums were released.

Apart from that, Martin can also boast of a great solo career. He collaborated with such well-known performers as Rihanna, Nelly Furtado, Jay-Z and many others.
