Travis Barker

A gifted drummer Travis Barker was welcomed in California, where he grew up with two younger sisters. His father worked as a mechanic, while the mother was a nanny.

When a future star was four years old, his mom presented him with the first kit that he was using for the next 11 years. He took lessons from Michael Mai, who taught him various playing styles. Apart from that, as a teen, Travis also learnt to play the piano and even tried singing. Despite all this, he never really dreamt of connecting his life with music. Instead, he wanted to become either a surfer or a skateboarder. Nonetheless, with time, music won over sports and he started pursuing a professional career in the entertainment sphere.

At first, he worked with Aquabats group and in 1998 he was invited to perform with a rock band Blink-182. In addition to that, the musician also played at Box Car Race and founded his own group +44 in 2005. In 2011 he released the first solo album titled Give The Drummer Some. Barker also does original mixes and remixes of different compositions.

Today, the celebrity keeps collaborating with many famous artists as well as performs with Blink-182.
