The love story of a well-known golfer Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren started out as a real fairy-tale every girl would love to have. Elin worked as a nanny in the family of a golf player Jesper Parnevik when she was first noticed by the celebrity. The two love birds were introduced to each other in 2001 and that’s when their love story began.
2001-2003
The chemistry between the two was obvious and so, no wonder they started dating right after the first meeting. The couple had been really in love and it took them two years to get engaged.
The next important step
In 2004 they had an extremely beautiful wedding ceremony at Barbados that was attended by many famous people and cost around two million dollars. Soon after the marriage, they bought two houses, one in California and one in Sweden, where Elin is from.
Their kids: 2007 and 2009
In 2007 the couple welcomed their firstborn, a daughter Sam. Just two years later, a son Charlie became a wonderful addition to the family. Both kids have been playing golf since childhood.
When did all start to go wrong?
It looked like everything was fine between the two with their cute babies. However, it all changed on Thanksgiving Day of 2009. Elin saw an article, where her spouse was linked to a woman named Rachel Uchitel but Woods denied everything. This woman was going to tell all the truth to the media but suddenly cancelled everything just a day before it was scheduled. As it turned out, the sportsman paid her $10.000 to stay silent.

Even though Uchitel did remain quiet, there were a lot of women who were ready to share information about their affairs with the golfer. In total, there were five of them. To name just a few: Holly Sampson, Mindy Lawton, Kalika Moquin and others.
The end was near
In 2010 Tiger and Elin got officially divorced but co-parent the kids together.
