An internationally-recognized musician, singer, songwriter and producer – yes, it is all about him, multi-talented Ryan Tedder.
A future star was delivered in Oklahoma. At the age of 7 he got passionate about everything that is connected with music and that’s why started singing, impersonating his favorite artists: Sting, Beatles and others.
While studying at the Oral Roberts University, he learnt to play a number of instruments, including the guitar, drums, etc. At some point music began playing such an important role in Ryan’s life that he began skipping classes at the University and so, stopped getting scholarship.
After graduation he worked as a waiter as well as a seller. At the same time, in his spare time he used to send demo-versions of his singles to various recording studios and soon got an internship in DreamWorks SKG. At the age of 21 he won a competition on MTV and expected a recording of an album as an award but that didn’t happen.
However, Tedder didn’t give up and relocated to LA. There, he started everything from scratch. Soon he created a group One Republic that was noticed by Timbaland. As a result, the band signed a contract with his label.
