Rachel Weisz

A British-American movie star Rachel Weisz was welcomed in London. Her mother’s name is Edith and she worked as a teacher, who later became a psychotherapist. Her father George used to work as an inventor and a mechanical engineer. Also, the family includes a younger daughter Minnie, who is a photographer.

Having finished school, she entered the University, where she studied English literature. And perhaps, Weisz could be a great teacher if she didn’t get passionate about the student drama group. She participated in almost all performances and quickly became a star of the group.

In the end of 80s she began featuring with minor roles in various television series and films. When she turned 25 she was offered a role in a movie called Stealing Beauty. And even though she didn’t play the main character, she was noticed by many producers. Ever since that time Rachel performs only main roles.
