How did it all start?
A talented Russian-American dancer Artem Chigvintsev got acquainted with a worldwide known wrestler Nikki Bella in autumn 2017 when they were partners at the Dancing with the Stars TV show. At that time, it looked like they were just friends, especially considering the fact that Nikki was engaged to her long-term boyfriend John Cena.
Bella and Cena are no longer together
In April 2018 Nikki called off her engagement with a WWE star. Despite the breakup, they shortly reunited to call it quits for good in summer of 2018. The main reason for this decision was that Nikki wanted to have a baby, whereas Cena wasn’t ready for it.

In January 2019 there started appearing speculations that Bella and Chigvintsev are a real deal. However, at that time neither of them confirmed this news. In March 2019 they became Instagram official and he even appeared in Total Bellas reality show.
The couple began openly spending a lot of time together as well as with Nikki’s twin Brie, her husband and daughter.
In July 2019 they made their debut red carpet at the Kids’ Choice Sports Awards and looked madly in love.
Engagement
In November 2019 the dancer popped the question during their trip to France and of course, Nikki said yes. However, according to Us Weekly, the pair shared this wonderful news with millions of their fans only in January 2020.
Becoming parents
One more big event that happened in January was the announcement of Bella being pregnant. A baby-boy, who they named Matteo drew his first breath in July 2020 and is growing a healthy kid.
