Miles Teller

A talented movie star and musician Miles Teller drew his first breath in Pennsylvania to his parents Merry and Mike. His mother deals with real estate business and his father is a nuclear power plant engineer. A future star grew up with two siblings.

After moving to Florida with the family, he got passionate about music and learnt to play the piano, drums and even saxophone. In addition, he established a rock band with friends called The Mutes.

Apart from that, Miles was interested in sports and was really good at baseball. At some point he even considered pursuing a professional career in the world of sports. However, things changed when he visited a drama club and literally fell in love with acting. In order to get experience, he entered the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University, where he earned a degree in Fine Arts.

Teller’s path in the moviemaking industry started with short films after which he appeared in Rabbit Hole and The Unusuals that brought him popularity. Yet, the main breakthrough happened after starring in such TV projects as The Spectacular Now, Whiplash and Divergent.
