A talented singer, songwriter, record executive and a television producer Marc Anthony was delivered in New York City. His mother Guillermina was a housewife, while the father Felipe worked as a musician and a hospital lunchroom worker.

It was the father, who taught a future star to play different musical instruments and later developed his singing skills.

Anthony’s path to international fame and recognition began in the end of 1980s when he started working as a session vocalist for freestyle and a backup singer. In 1991 he presented the first solo album called When The Night Is Over that turned out to be a huge success. The second album Otra Nota was also positively accepted by critics as well as fans. The celebrity’s first four albums got so popular that they were listened to not only in Latin America but all across the globe. That’s why Marc made a decision to present an album with songs in English that helped him to win the hearts of millions of people. Throughout his career, he can boast of releasing 12 studio albums, 49 singles and 15 music videos.

Apart from that the singer also starred in over 10 movies, the most well-known of which are El Cantante, Carlito’s Way, Man on Fire and others.
