Bio
A gifted actor Jonathan Bailey drew his first breath in Wallingford but grew up in a nearby village of Benson with three sisters.
He had a usual kid’s life, attended school, learnt to play several musical instruments and was even getting a scholarship.
The only thing that made him different from the rest of the kids is his acting skills. It would be interesting to know that Jonathan made a decision to pursue an acting career at the age of just 5 when he watched a stage production of Oliver. He began taking part in school performances and in 1995, aged just 7, got a role in A Christmas Carol at the Barbican Theatre in London.
Alongside his performing on stage, the celebrity never forgot about education. He finished primary school and then completed Magdalen College School in Oxford. Also, he has a degree from the Open University.
Speaking of the star’s path in the moviemaking business, it began in 1997 when he appeared in TV series Bramwell. After that he could be seen in such TV series as: Baddiel’s Syndrome, Off the Hook, Campus, Leonardo, Me and Mrs Jones, Groove High, Bridgerton, etc.
As for his career in the world of theatre, he keeps participating in various performances, such as, for instance, Othello, American Psycho, King Lear, Company and others.
