Bio
A remarkable film star Joe Keery drew his first breath in Massachusetts and became the second out of five children in a family of David and Nina, an architect and a professor of English respectively.
He began demonstrating artistic skills at a young age and that’s why parents signed him up with a theatrical studio, where he could get acting experience and practice.
Along with acting, a future star attended River Valley Charter School and then Newburyport High School. After that he successfully graduated from DePaul University in 2014.
Before getting his breakthrough role in Stranger Things, Joe used to feature in commercials as well as TV series, e.g. Domino’s, KFC, Chicago Fire and Empire. In 2015 he was cast in Stranger Things and got a role of Steve that made him popular worldwide.
It would be also interesting to know that apart from acting, the celebrity deals with music. He used to sing and play the guitar in a band called Post Animal that performed psych-rock music.
