Hayden Christensen

Hayden Christensen is a well-known movie star, who was delivered in Vancouver, Canada but spent the biggest part of his childhood with three siblings in Toronto. His father David worked as a computer programmer and his mother Alie was a speechwriter.

A future star’s interest in acting arose at the age of 8 when he had his first experience of being in front of a camera. He featured in his first commercial and that’s how and when he decided to pursue a professional career in the filmmaking industry.

At 12 he got a secondary role in TV series Family Passions that motivated him even more. In order to get more practical skills, Hayden went to New York, where he attended the Arts York program for drama.

From 1993 and up till 2000 he appeared in six television series, yet none of them brought him success. Christensen didn’t give up and soon starred in The Virgin Suicides and Higher Ground. However, what really made him an international star are his roles in New York, I Love You, Jumper and of course, Star Wars.
