A multi-talented person FKA Twigs is known to millions of people across the globe as a British singer-songwriter, film performer, dancer, composer and producer.

A future star was welcomed in Cheltenham to her mother, who worked as a dancer and gymnast and father, who was a jazz dancer. She was raised by her mom and stepdad and met her biological father only at the age of 18.

The celebrity attended a private catholic school and in addition to that used to visit ballet and opera classes.

At 16 she began working in youth clubs, creating music and at 17 relocated to London to become a dancer. However, within a short period of time she changed her mind and transferred from dance to music. For this, she even studied at Croydon College and earned a degree in fine arts.

Her path to prominence wasn’t the easiest one. At first, she worked as a backup dancer for Ed Sheeran, Jessie J and many other performers.

Everything changed when at 18 she started working with local London producers, who helped her find her way in the music industry. In such a way, she signed a contract with Young Turks and in 2014 released her debut albums called LP1.

Today, FKA Twigs can boast of introducing 2 studio albums, 3 EPs and 18 music videos.
