Elon Musk

Perhaps, there wouldn’t be even one person who didn’t hear the name Elon Musk. He is a multi-talented person, who deals with engineering, several businesses, investing, inventing, etc. In addition, he is a founder of Tesla, SpaceX, PayPal and many other multi-million companies.

A future billionaire drew his first breath in South Africa. His mother worked as a model as well as a nutritionist. The father was a pilot, a sailor and an engineer. Elon also has two siblings. When parents divorced, all three kids remained with dad, who managed to raise them highly-educated people.

At school, Musk was mainly interested in math, physics and computer studies. At 10 he was presented his first computer Commodore VIC-20 that he used for programming. At 12 he sold the first program, a game called Blastar for $500.

At 19 he moved to Canada to study in Ontario but later relocated to the US, where he got a degree in physics and economics.

The first company he established was Zip2. Within just a few years it got so popular that it was purchased by Compac for 307 million dollars.

Apart from space, electric cars and other spheres, Musk doesn’t forget to take part in social activity. For instance, he has a foundation that regularly donates millions of dollars for research of artificial intelligence. He also runs a project SolarCity that manufactures solar panels.
